What is the Grey Bruce Agriculture & Culinary Association?

The Grey Bruce Agriculture & Culinary Association (Grey Bruce ACA) is a non-profit association dedicated to the promotion and increased public awareness of fresh, local food in the community.

  • Grey Bruce ACA promotes local regional foods through networking, marketing, and education.
  • Our members include farmers, restaurateurs, food processors, food distributors, farmers' markets, tourist operators and cooking schools.
  • Grey Bruce ACA is a member based volunteer organization; run by volunteers and depending on volunteers to obtain its goals and objectives.
  • Grey Bruce ACA works collaboratively with Grey and Bruce Counties through their tourism departments and with other organizations to develop the two Counties as a culinary tourist destination.
  • Grey Bruce ACA is not a political organization.

Membership in Grey Bruce Agriculture and Culinary Association

Any person who resides or practices business in Grey or Bruce County and supports the purposes of the Association shall be entitled to be a member.

Purposes of the Association:

1) Establish leadership and organization to implement the strategic action plan which includes, but is not limited to:

i) building and maintaining awareness of local food products and services, and their availability

ii) developing Grey/Bruce as an agricultural and culinary source and destination in cooperation with the Tourism Departments of Grey and Bruce Counties.

2) Promote membership to drive revenues of the organization for future projects and endeavors .
3) Recognize businesses that invest in and promote local food products and services
4) Strengthen partnerships and communications among stakeholders
5) Identify funding opportunities including government grants and sponsorships and apply for said monies to support projects and initiatives
6) The Association shall not be, nor become, a political organization
